Meet Wrigley!
Well hello, hello, hello! My name is Wrigley and I am a big ball of energy probably because I’m a Chihuahua, pug, puggle some sort of super cute mix. Right now I’m only about 5 months old and am just 14 pounds, but what I lack in size I make up for with my larger-than-life personality.
So a little about me: On a scale of 1-10, I’m a solid 9 on the energy scale. My mom keeps saying she’s on the Wrigley Weight Loss plan. I like to be active all of the time when I’m with my family. I really enjoy going for fast, long walks and if my mom would let me I’d run. After we get done with our daily walk, I like to run around the yard with my foster sisters. I really like to be chased, it is so fun! After a good long time outside, it’s fun to come inside and wrestle with my sisters and play with our toys. I’m really good at sharing. I’m a real busy body so I would really like my furever family to be very active and hopefully have some other canines to keep me entertained, but don’t worry, once I get all my energy out, I love to just sit on my mom’s lap, give her snuggles and kisses.
Right now I don’t know very many commands but my foster mom and sisters are helping me learn. Just two days after being sprung from MADACC, I have learned how to sit and I even know my own name. I even figured out how to use the doggy door. Speaking of which, I am doing great with my potty training, and I get antsy to let my mom know I have to go outside. Also, I’m doing great in my crate and say in there during the day and sometimes at night if I’m still too much energy. One of my quirks that I’m trying hard to improve is I like to bark at other dogs. I just want them to know I’m there because I want to play and get to know them.
I’m working on being the perfect little man and looking forward to your finishing touch to get me settled into furever home! Love your little ball of energy …. Wiggly Wrigley.
Wrigley’s adoption fee is $350 and he is being fostered in southeastern Wisconsin. Because all our Cupids are fostered in private homes, an approved application MUST be on file before proceeding with a meet-and-greet. The online application can be found at http://www.caninecupids.org/adopt-.html.

Our Thoughts on Visual Breed Identification
Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable. For most of our adoptable Cupids we are only guessing at the predominant breed or breed mix. We think it’s most important is to get to know each dog as an individual! We then do our best to describe each of our adoptable Cupids based on their personalities in order to determine whether they’ll make good companions based on prospective adopters’ lifestyles. Dog behavior is not exclusive to breed — it’s a complex mix of nature and nurture.
