Chloe is a loving, playful 3 year old female Shih Tzu mix. She is in excellent health, has recently been spayed and is about 28 pounds. She came to the rescue after being abandoned at a boarder. Not much is known about her, so we are not sure of her exact breed mix. There are some thoughts of Australian Shepherd, Tibetan Terrier, or Husky, but don't know for sure. Chloe is the definition of a "velcro" dog. She likes to follow her people everywhere and always wants to be next to you. She's very happy lying on the couch next to you or even on top of you. Even at her size, she likes to be a lap dog. Chloe does have a playful side as well and loves to wrestle, roll around, and will play fetch with a ball for a couple of throws. She is very smart and eager to please. She does well with the commands of “sit” and “stay” and she is working on “lie down”. Chloe is house trained and loves to run around her foster parents’ fenced backyard – even in the cold weather! She would do best with a family who can give her lots of attention and play time. She gets along well with her foster Shih Tzu brother and would be fine with other dogs in the house. She'd also do well with respectful children and would be a great dog for a family who will include her in their daily lives and make some dedicated time for her.
Chloe is healthy, spayed, current on vaccinations, is microchipped, and on heartworm preventative. Her adoption fee is $320.00, plus $26.92 sales tax, for a total of $ $396.92. Her foster parents would like her adopters to live within a reasonable driving distance of the Twin Cities and encourage them to attend the Shih Tzu Rescue Reunion in September.
