I am already spayed, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.
MEET APPLE....A 3 YR OLD WESTIE MIX
Apple is our newest member of the Westie Rescue group. She had a wonderful owner who fell on hard times, but his love of his baby girl surely showed. The former owner met a man at the dart station one day and became friends with him. He could tell that the man he met loved animals too upon talking to him. After some time He asked him if he would be willing to help him find a great home for Apple, as Apples former Dad knew living on the streets with him as much as he cared and provided for her just was not good for his girl. Quickly this man who has also become Apples foster Dad contacted WRNT and asked if we would help. Her foster Dad has this to say about Apple: "She clearly wants to be center of her humans world for sure"! "She is very smart and listens very well, and loves to be a lap dog!"
In the best interest of Apple, her ideal Mom or Dad would need to understand that she has been an only dog for quite some time. She DOES get along with other dogs, shows no temperament until she is near her human, she will let out a growl to let the other dogs to stay away.
Apple is 3 yrs old and is a Westie Mix,. She is current on her shots and recently had her spay surgery.
We will be posting more pictures of Apple just as soon she gets her doggie spa day completed.
If you would like to learn more about Apple, please submit your application online at www.wrnt.org and mention Apple.
Its me, Apple... Look at my Mom I have adopted!!
I have had a ruff start to my life , but i did have a wonderful Dad and Mom who took care of me .When they fell on hard times , I lived on the streets for awhile .My former Dad knew that wasn't the best for me.
They loved me enough to ask a kind man to help them find me a home. He also became my foster Dad. My foster Dad called WRNT and they took me right in . I got my big girl surgery and they made sure that I was in healthy ,tip top condition.
A very nice lady was so interested in me, she couldn't wait to meet me. Well... the rest is history folks... I gave my paw of approval when I met my new Mom! We have a lot of learning about each other . but we are going to be such best friends and I know that I am going to love my Mom furever!! Thank you WRNTand to my foster Dad for protecting such a little girl like me, and allowing me to have my paw of approval for my Mom!
Check in with ya later..gotta go explore my new yard. WOOF!!!
Hugs and Westie kisses,
