I am already spayed, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Helena's Story...
Helena is an older easy going girl. She's pleasant to have around as she's not overly active yet not a mopey couch potato either. She gets along nicely with other dogs and people too. And doesn't she have a great smile?! She would very much love human companionship to share her Golden Years with and to have a home she can call her own. We approximate her date of birth to be around 2007 or 2008. If you are that special someone that wishes to have Helena as part of your family, please contact RickyC68@aol.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Helena, a Simsbury Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Simsbury, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Simsbury.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Simsbury already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Simsbury breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Simsbury paves the way for another one to be saved.
