My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Little LUCY is a cuddlebug who loves snuggling with both humans and other pups! As of 1/28/16 she is 8 weeks old. She is sweet, smart, and an all around well adjusted pup. She loves to give kisses and flop over for belly rubs. LUCY lives in a foster home with 2 adult dogs and 2 other puppies. She has a blast playing with them but is then ready for a puppy nap. She is doing well with her potty training and is going to make her forever family very happy.

LUCY will be microchipped and vaccinated as many times as age will allow when she travels to her forever home.
Her $450 adoption fee includes interstate health certificate and transport to the New England area.

An adoption application on LUCY can be found at the following link: http://wp.me/P73YMd-1h
Please email the completed application to weatherley.woofriver@gmail.com

All of our dogs start their journey in Tennessee where they remain in loving foster families until they are adopted. Once adopted, they travel via one of our transport partners to their new forever homes. We use Alpha Dog Pet Transport for our New England, Nashville, and Knoxville adoptions (https://alphadogtransport.com) and The Road Home Pet Transport for our Midwest adopters (https://www.facebook.com/roadhomepettransport).

Breed selection is done in conjunction with two local vets and is not to be considered a guarantee but rather a well-educated decision from well qualified staff.

Due to the extremely high volume of inquiries we receive, we ask that you request, complete, and submit an application before asking additional questions. We try very hard to include all pertinent information in our bios. We are excited to help you find your new family member. However, Woof River is 100% volunteer operated. We want to spend our time saving dogs and assisting those adopters who have taken the time to complete an application. Thank you for understanding.
