My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Midnight is a 3 year old Lab mix, approx 40lbs, whose life has had a rough start. She was taken in by a good Samaritan in rural Louisiana when she witnessed a man pushing a very pregnant dog out of his truck. This Samaritan took Midnight home and that night she gave birth to 8 puppies. Knowing that she needed some help with this mom and her new pups she reached out to the local rescue and asked for assistance. They told her if she could foster for a short time they would get Midnight and her pups transported to Massachusetts where they would find great homes. The good Samaritan was a service officer and she named all the puppies after her co-workers.

Midnight is a very sweet and friendly dog. She is good with other dogs her size, but a little nervous around small dogs. She has spent time with 2 other lab mixes, a 10 year old child, and some teens, all of which she has done well with. She gets along well with cats and does not pay any attention to them when introduced. Midnight is a special dog and will make someone the perfect family member. Are you that person that can make that happen?

If you are interested in meeting Midnight please fill out our online adoption application. She will be available to meet on 1/30
