Anastasia's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, not good with kids, not good with dogs, and good with cats.

Anastasia's Story...
I'm one very smart young lady...I was either dumped or moved off and left and found my way to not only the neighborhood but the very street where the Director of Stray Central lives! Her volunteer (and my foster mom) Emily had been seeing me for several weeks eating out of garbage cans and the two of them finally live-trapped me cuz I was too scared to go to them. I've been at Emily's since 11/24/15, have been spayed, vaccinated, and learning to live with all the other foster kitties there. While I get along with them, I would be much happier with only a few other cats as it's a bit overwhelming with so many. I'm extremely sweet, love receiving and giving attention, and just a delight to have around. To learn more about how wonderful I am, please call or text my foster mom, Emily, at 479-251-0335.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Anastasia, a Farmington Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Farmington, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Farmington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Farmington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Farmington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Farmington paves the way for another one to be saved.
