Gypsy's Story...
1/27/2016: COURTESY LISTING! Gypsy is being listed for adoption because her current owners have developed serious health issues and need to find homes for some of their dogs as they do not feel that they will be able to care for all of them much longer. Placing their beloved pets is breaking their hearts but that it is something they must do for both their pets and themselves. Gypsy is a long haired chihuahua. She has not been around many children and for this reason, it is best if she be placed in an adult only home. As you can see, Gypsy is a beautiful girl and she has been well cared for and loved. If interested in adopting Gypsy or need more info, please contact us and we will put you in touch with her owners.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gypsy, a Chiefland Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Chiefland, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Chiefland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chiefland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chiefland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chiefland paves the way for another one to be saved.
