Charlie's Story...
Meet Charlie! He is a 1.5 year old 17 lb., 16.5 inch tall apricot and white terrier blend with the body and legs of an Italian Greyhound and a sweet, kind disposition. His coat is a beautiful golden color with white blended in. Charlie is smart and willing to learn. He is good with his shots and having his toenails trimmed and has been started in basic obedience training. Charlie would do fine with another dog about his size or as an only dog. He is a low to medium energy guy who also likes to be held or sit next to you while you read your favorite book or surf the net.

Charlie is neutered, micro-chipped, and up to date on all shots. For more information go to www.3rrescue.org or phone 707-529-4643.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Charlie, a Winters Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Winters, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog from a breeder in Winters.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Winters already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Winters breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Winters paves the way for another one to be saved.
