Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Makenna Kay
Born 10/1/15
Female Black and White Tabby Maine Coon Mix
Makenna Kay is a precious little green-eyed girl with black tabby coloring and white mitts and bib. She came into the shelter with a very large open wound on her back, at exactly the spot where you would apply a topical flea medicine. Most likely whoever had her put on a dog flea medication that was way too strong for a 5 week old kitten. Fortunately, the wound healed, and the hair in that spot is growing back in.
More importantly, Makenna's days of woe and discomfort are well behind her! She is a ball of energy, always on the move, ready to hunt down the next toy that goes rolling past her. She can race up the cat tree and back down lickity split! Whoever adopts her will have great fun watching her antics. Right now, Makenna is too busy to be a lap kitten, but, of course, that can change as kittens grow. She would love to have the companionship of another cat. She would not do well in a very busy household.
Makenna Kay is fostered in Davis, CA.
