My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

G’day mates! My name is Bindi and I’m the new sheila around TDR. I’m a five-month-old Australian Cattle Dog (or an ACD for those in the know). Yesterday was kind of nuts. I started the day in a loud shelter and ended it in a house – pretty awesome, right? The best part was meeting my partner-in-foster-crime Spunky Brewster! We started wrestling immediately and just didn’t want to stop! I’m extremely playful with other dogs and am just a ton of fun. I’m a good girl though and try to be respectful when dogs don’t want to play back. My foster dad says, true to breed, I’m insanely smart. I learned my name in just a few hours! I also love to watch TV. FD says I sit and watch what’s going on and tilt my head when people speak. Anyway, I’m looking for my forever family. I’ll need people who understand my need to stay busy. I’ve got a lot of energy to burn and a huge capacity to learn (Crikey! I’m also a poet and didn’t even know it!). I’m excited to see what my future holds!
