My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Pippi. Pippi has not been shown a lot of love in her short life. You can tell because she is insecure when asking for affection, but so appreciative when it’s given. Barely 1-year-old, This tiny Miniature Dachshund mix loves nothing more than burrowing into her blankets and making a comfy bed for herself. Since she is so young, Pippi will need plenty of guidance to ensure that she grows up to be a healthy and happy dog. We have no doubt that this is possible with a little training and tons of love. If you’re looking for a tiny companion to spend your days with, Pippi may just be your girl.

ADOPTION PROCESS:
Pets are visited by appointment (times are flexible). Please email adopt@thepetrescuecenter.org to arrange a meeting time. This process allows potential adopters to spend adequate time with their prospective pet and prevents long wait times.
All interested parties must fill out an Adoption Application, which will be reviewed to find the best possible match. You can find our application online at: http://www.thepetrescuecenter.org/adopt/adoption-application.html. Completed applications can be submitted online, faxed to (949) 743-5878 or emailed to: adopt@thepetrescuecenter.org
Our adoption fee is $300 for dogs and $150 for cats, and includes spay/neuter, microchip, flea treatment, deworming, veterinary exams, and current vaccinations while in our care. This fee helps to defray the costs incurred for these and other pre-adoption expenses.
The Pet Rescue Center is a 501c3 non-profit organization whose mission is to save the lives of dogs and cats at risk of euthanasia, and is temporarily housed inside the Alicia Pet Care Center at 25800 Jeronimo Rd. Suite 100, Mission Viejo, CA 92691.
