Facts about Lori

  • Breed: Domestic Shorthair
  • Color: Brown Tabby
  • Age: Adult
  • Sex: Female
  • Hair: Short
Lori loves young kids. She is so glad it's spring break, she's been getting lots of children visiting her. Lori has also done well with quiet, cat friendly dogs here at the shelter.
Lori is a very sweet kitty. She would love a home of her own. If you want to meet her please let feline staff know and we'd be happy to show her to you; she currently resides in our director's office.

Lori came to us in August; shortly thereafter she stopped eating and lost weight, to the point that our vet installed a feeding tube. After many weeks of tube feeding Lori started eating on her own. The feeding tube has been removed and she is eating well on her own.

Lori is being housed in one of the offices where she is loving having lots of attention from staff and volunteers. She is very affectionate, loves to sit on laps, and enjoys looking out the window.

We don't know how Lori would be with dogs, she does not mind the barking dogs outside of her window. She has had children visit her and did very well with a playful, energetic little boy. We don't know if Lori would be best as an only cat, or if she'd be okay with a friendly, low energy kitty in the home- we would consider all options for her.

Lori is on a special diet that you would need to buy through your vet.

Lori is eligible for our foster to adopt program. It's important for her to find the perfect home, and for you to find the perfect kitty!

Adult adoption fee is $75.

Five Acres is open Tue-Fri 2-6pm, Sat and Sun 12-6pm. 636-949-9918
