Ginger Marie's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, and not good with cats.

Ginger Marie's Story...
Ginger Marie is an 8 year old, spayed female, Jack Russell Terrier. She weighs 12 pounds. Ginger was born June 20 2007. She was surrendered in our Safe Haven Kennel because she killed a cat and was showing fear aggression towards kids. Ginger Marie has a docked tail which has been tucked between her back legs for a week. She has had some "Chill Time" at the shelter in our quarantine room and has started to trust us now. Ginger is shy at first but as we talk to her she begins to untuck her tail and want on our lap. She met a bigger dog without raising a hair and her first child she seen made her extremely HAPPY and she wanted him to pet her (that tail really wags when she gets excited). Ginger will need an experienced owner with no cats. She will need to be around older children or children that are well experienced with timid dogs. She is adoptable at The Humane Society Serving Crawford County at 419-562-9149

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ginger Marie, a Bucyrus Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Bucyrus, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in Bucyrus.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bucyrus already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bucyrus breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bucyrus paves the way for another one to be saved.
