Eve's Story...
Eve is a female Maltese/Lhasa mix approximately 1 ½ years of age. She has big dark eyes with a short nose and under bite that gives her a Lhasa appearance. She has a lovely soft, all white coat of hair that was cut very short due to severe matting from neglect. Eve was found by Hope for Paws Rescue in Los Angeles. She is healthy and is happily enjoying life with her foster family. Eve gets along nicely with other dogs although she would be OK as an only dog as long as there was a soft (cuddle type) dog bed next to a family member. What really makes Eve happy is getting belly rubs. She loves to flop over on her back to get her belly petted. She is a super easy dog as she comes when called, rarely barks and is doing well with house training when taken outside every couple of hours. Eve was recently spayed, has a microchip, and her shots are current. Eve is ready to meet a new forever family!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Eve, a San Diego Maltese/Lhasa Apso dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maltese/Lhasa Apso for sale in San Diego, or seeking a Maltese/Lhasa Apso dog from a breeder in San Diego.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Diego already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Diego breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maltese/Lhasa Apso breeders who help with Maltese/Lhasa Apso rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Diego paves the way for another one to be saved.
