My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

NOTE: This is a courtesy posting for another rescuer. Please do not contact ARRF, as we do not know this pet personally.

Pearl is an absolutely delightful Doxie/Min Pin mix. She was found by one of our volunteers running on the freeway. She stopped and opened her door and Pearl, although very frightened, jumped right in. We think she is around a year old. We tried to find her owner, but were not successful. Pearl would do best with dogs her size or bigger. She tends to be very dominant with tiny dogs. She is now spayed, and is crate trained and nearly housetrained.

We suggest a home with children over the age of 10 for this dog. This dog cannot be adopted out of state. Please see our home page (www.fcianimals.org) for a list of our Saturday adoption sites. Every potential adopter is required to fill out an adoption application and the dog is placed in the home that would be most suitable for the dog. We do not place our dogs in homes with unfenced swimming pools. Generally we don't release the dogs at the adoption site that day except on occasion to former adopters

If you are interested in adopting this dog, please email FCIAadoptions@aol.com or call 619.466.9137.
