Tucker's Story...
Hi, my name is Tucker. I am around 4 years old and am a Pug Chihuahua mix. I am neutered, current on vaccines, dewormer, heartworm negative and on monthly prevention. I am also microchipped.

I am good with kids and and other big dogs. My best friend right now is a big 'ol pit :) I have not been around dogs my size so i may be a little unsure of them at first.

I am crate trained and house trained as long as i am let out in a timely manner. I have a lot of energy so I need someone that is willing to play with me and give me lots of exercise. I am working on my manners and commands.

I am very fast and will try to run out of an open door but I am also doing very good with the stay command when the door is opened. I also love to cuddle with my human every chance i can get!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tucker, a Norman Pug/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pug/Chihuahua for sale in Norman, or seeking a Pug/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Norman.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Norman already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Norman breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pug/Chihuahua breeders who help with Pug/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Norman paves the way for another one to be saved.
