Sofia's Story...
Sweet Sofia is around three years old and loves people. She loves meeting people, she loves greeting people and she loves being held by - you guessed it - people! Sofia also has “Elvis” legs. She’s got this tiny shake in her hind leg that resembles Elvis’ famous quiver and shake. But rest assured, she has had a thorough vet examination and tests including x-rays, and the vet confirms that, while she may have sustained some past trauma or perhaps infection, she’s perfectly fine and healthy and doesn't require any further treatment. To meet her, you’d never know she gave a second thought to her special attribute. In fact, she happily runs around without a care in the world! She could be your new dancing partner, so if you're interested in meeting your next rockstar kitty, email info@teamcatrescue.ca!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sofia, a THORNHILL Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in THORNHILL, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in THORNHILL.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in THORNHILL already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a THORNHILL breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in THORNHILL paves the way for another one to be saved.
