This is a write up by our foster Tammy Foster did on Onyx.

This is our Onyx from AC about 4 years ago. She was paralyzed with fear so she appeared aggressive to some. And, of course being a Pit she was never adopted. Kris and Brooke kept working with her and saw the goodness in her and asked us to foster. Within a day she was running around with my stupids having a blast!!!!! She was adopted to a great couple who spent a lot of time with her and adored her despite her lack of trust. Unfortunately the couple separated and the woman's living situation is such that she can't have pets:(

So we picked her up yesterday and will wait for her to find the right home. She has come out of her shell tremendously!!!! She still trusts when she's ready but she is a dear, sweet, beautiful, loving, smart girl with all the great qualities of a Pit!!!! We just adore her and are glad to have her back!! This picture makes her look huge, she's really very tiny😊

About Our Rescue Group...

Adopt4Love Pets Inc., is a"NO KILL" 501(c)3 Tax Exempt Organization as defined by the IRS, so your Donations are Tax Deductible.

We depend solely on public support and grants to fund our rescue efforts, 100% of every Donation goes to help the animals, we are all volunteers here at Adopt4Love Pets, Inc. and no one gets paid or receives any compensation working with our Organization. All Donations are greatly appreciated whether great or small every penny helps in our efforts to save lives.

We Rescue animals primarily from Individuals and Deploying Military Personnel, giving them another option than dropping their beloved pet in a kill shelter. We carefully screen all applicants and do home visits to insure that we are placing them with the right adopter and in a loving environment.

We are also always in need of good Fosters, If you would like to become a Foster Home for our Organization please contact us for a Foster Application.

Our Adoption Process...

Our normal adoption donation is $150 that includes all vaccinations, Heartworm Testing, Micro-Chip, and Spay or Neuter. If you see a pet you are interested in you can contact us for an application, fill it out and send it back to us as soon as possible. We will check your References and if approved we will contact you to arrange a home visit. If all goes well with the home visit and you wish to proceed with the adoption, you will sign the adoption agreement and pay the adoption fee. If you can't pick the animal up in person and we have to arrange transport please note it can be 2-3 weeks before we can get them on a transport since our transport group only travels North twice a month.
