Sparkle's Story...
Hi there, my name is Sparkle! I was at the shelter in Ripley, TN in an awful, cold and wet kennel, practically freezing to death when some rescue ladies found me! They saw my shiny personality in the most depressing of places, and knew my happy go lucky personality would make a wonderful family companion.

I live in a foster home with other dogs, and kids and am so thankful to be here....but am looking for my forever home. Are you that family? My adoption fee is $300 and will include my spay surgery, microchipping, deworming, vaccinations, and proheart injection (6 month heart worm preventative), Please let the folks at Wilson Animal Rescue know if you are interested in filling out an adoption application and learning more about wonderful, happy, sparkly me!!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sparkle, a Nashville Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever for sale in Nashville, or seeking a Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Nashville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Nashville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Nashville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Nashville paves the way for another one to be saved.
