Boxer/Labrador Retriever Mix Dog for adoption in Bellingham, Washington - Tanner

I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Tanner's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, not good with kids, not good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Tanner's Story...
Tanner is a 5 year old Boxer/Lab mix looking for an active and fun home. He is an energetic boy who enjoys walking, playing and being silly. Tanner will need an experienced home who is comfortable with large breed dogs. He will need an adult-only home with no other dogs. He has had some trouble in his previous home with a neighbor dog, so for his safety he would not be a good candidate for off leash dog parks. He tends to get along best with dogs who will let him control the play intensity, and who won't try to push him around. Tanner would also do best in a home without cats. Before Tanner's adoption can be finalized, he will need to be signed up for positive reward based obedience training. These will help Tanner and his new family learn some basic tools to help him be the best boy he can be! If you would like to meet Tanner and see if he would be a good match for you, please fill out an adoption application at the front desk.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tanner, a Bellingham Boxer/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer/Labrador Retriever for sale in Bellingham, or seeking a Boxer/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Bellingham.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bellingham already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bellingham breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Boxer/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bellingham paves the way for another one to be saved.
