My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! My name is Buddy. I was wandering around town, doing my own thing, when this lady pulled up in her car and said she was going to rescue me. I didnt know what that meant, but she had yummy treats and I hoped right in the car. I will do anything for a treat! They say that means Im easily trainable, which Im guessing is a good thing because they give me treats when I do stuff. I guess now Im in whats called a foster home, which is cool and all, but Im an independent kind of guy and need to find my own place soon. I would have moved out a long time ago, but this economy is cramping my style! I love children and other dogs around my size, but cats annoy me! They think they know everything if I ever catch one, Im going to teach it a lesson! Stupid cats. Enough about those things though I love to cuddle my humans, and work out on my Wii, hang in the pool, and just laze around. Ive been referred to as a loveable meathead. Now, Im not sure what that means, but I love meat, like any respectable dog does, so Ill consider it a compliment! If youve read my story this far, you might as well come on out to meet me. Im a good guy and Ill make you look good walking down the street. Plus, the ladies from the rescue say that if I find a home, they can save more dogs like me that dont know about all the good stuff I know about now, like sleeping on soft pillows, eating good food, and getting treats for doing things I like to do already sitting and lying down. A note from Chako: Buddys adoption fee is $100. He is neutered, utd on routine vaccines, microchipped, and on heartworm and flea preventative. We believe Buddy is about 1 years old. Chako is entirely volunteer run with no paid staff so every cent we get goes directly to our rescue, advocacy, and education efforts. To inquire about Buddy or our other available dogs, please email adoptions@chako.org or call 916-534-8608
