Pickles's Story...
This sweet gal never ceases to amuse us with her antics. She loves the kiddie pool, hopping it in like a bunny and even laying down to cool off from the summer heat. She's got pogo sticks for legs, and sails easily over any backyard obstacles, and she will melt against your leg for a tummy rub. She loves to explore, but the sound of kibble hitting her dish will have her running from whatever adventure has caught her attention. She loves to run and can certainly use an activity partner! This is a dog that will help you stay in shape, but then come on home and snuggle on the couch. Pickles is an active girl who gets along well with most nonreactive dogs off leash. She is a bit assertive with other dogs when she is on leash but with more training, this can be overcome. She would do best as the only pet in the home or paired with a very active couple who has a male dog that is nonreactive and also likes to play and run. Pickles also comes with her very own, handmade, leather martingale collar donated by Karma Collars! Pickles is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped and waiting for YOU -- her forever home. Her adoption fee is $50.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pickles, a Sacramento Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Sacramento, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Sacramento.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sacramento already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sacramento breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sacramento paves the way for another one to be saved.
