Penny's Story...

Here's one adorable, tiny little eight month old girl we rescued from the Sacramento County shelter this last week. Her name is Penny, and she tops in at about 34 pounds right now. We think she's enjoying her foster mom's cushy bed much more than her kennel bed in the shelter, don't you think? Penny is a cuddle bug and wants to be wherever you are! She gets along with dogs AND cats! Interested in adopting her? Email us today!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Penny, a Sacramento American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Sacramento, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Sacramento.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sacramento already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sacramento breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sacramento paves the way for another one to be saved.
