Big squishy lovable ratties. What could be better for a rat lover?

Boo, Mo, and Batty came to us after their caretaker was evicted following a fire. This mellow group enjoys attention. Batty spends his nights curled up in his foster mom's lap, licking her fingers. Mo comes running for scratches just like his brother but is the troublemaker of the bunch, often wrestling his brothers and grabbing all the food before anyone else can get there. Boo isn't the attention hog of this group; he's very laidback and loves treats and quiet nights in the hammock away from the spotlight.

About Empty Cages Collective

About Our Rescue Group...

Empty Cages Collective is a Brooklyn-based, all volunteer, animal rescue and advocacy organization. Our aim is to cultivate a culture where all animals are recognized as sentient beings worthy of respect and compassion.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We would love to introduce you to our cats and kittens! Information about our upcoming adoption events can be found on our web site. Or call us at 1-800-880-2684 or email us at adopt@emptycagescollective.org to schedule an appointment.

Our Adoption Process...

Because we have limited resources we try to help the cats and kittens who are in the greatest need. All of our cats and kittens have been rescued as socialized strays or pulled from the kill list at NYC Animal Care & Control.

All of cats and kittens have been, or will be, spayed and neutered. As well, they have been vaccinated, treated for parasites, and blood tested.

Adoption of a cat or kitten from Empty Cages Collective requires an approved application and a donation of at least seventy-five dollars (one hundred dollars if the cat or kitten has been micro chipped).

Please call us at 1-800-880-2684 or email us at adopt@emptycagescollective.org for an adoption application.
