My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Joey was found as a stray, thin and alone, and was picked up by animal control in a small rural town in Georgia. It is clear to us that Joey once had a home. He is well behaved, rides great in a car and is such a sweet and lovely boy. At about six years old, Joey was on his own and his family never came to look for him. Ending up in a high kill shelter for no fault of his own, we have promised Joey that his true family will love him and take care of him--forever. He is ready! Joey currently weighs 60 lbs but will probably weigh 70 once we bring him to a healthy weight. If you are looking for a dog who has experience being part of a family, won't chew all your shoes but will be loyal and grateful forever, please copy and paste this link to your web browser to fill out our online application. Joey has been neutered, given all his shots and is heart worm free. Full vetting and transport up north included in his $375 adoption fee. We cannot be certain what his true mix is, but we do know this boy is a true gentleman!
