Henry's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Henry's Story...
This is Henry, a 10 month old sweet and gentle male Beagle-Hound mix. He is a super pooch who was acquired by a Good Samaritan who got him from someone trying to sell him in front of a large discount store. Henry was super skinny and had infected ears and obviously had been neglected.

He's a changed dog now--weighing in at 42 pounds and pretty much filled out. His coat is the typical Beagle tri-color pattern, and his toes are webbed, which means he is a good swimmer. Henry loves to fetch tennis balls and play with his squeaky toys. He's already learned the commands to sit, shake and lay down. What a smart boy he is! He's also met a cat and did not blink an eye at the cat. He just turned and went off to sniff something more interesting!

Henry has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and tested negative for heartworms. His adoption fee is $250.00.

If you are interested in adopting this cutie, please write us at and ask for an application to adopt. We are a foster-home based organization, and the adoption process starts when you submit your application. Once that has been approved, we can schedule a time for you to meet this pet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Henry, a Atlanta Beagle/Foxhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle/Foxhound for sale in Atlanta, or seeking a Beagle/Foxhound dog from a breeder in Atlanta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Atlanta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Atlanta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle/Foxhound breeders who help with Beagle/Foxhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Atlanta paves the way for another one to be saved.
