My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I'm Kiwi. I am an approximately 17 yr old male cockatiel. Don't worry about my age because the doctor just gave me a clean bill of health. My mommy went to Heaven and my daddy thought I deserved more attention than what he could give, so the awesome folks at Florida Parrot Rescue took me in and gave me a foster family.

I am a very friendly gentleman. I will step up readily and offer my neck for scritches. I love to sing and tell you what a "pretty bird" I am. I can be stubborn when it comes to my palette, though. I am very fond of the seed mix and spray millet I've always eaten but my foster family keeps putting other funny things in my bowl like chop and pellets. I'll sample them sometimes but I'm not yet convinced they're for me.

What *is* for me is a forever home! I just need someone with room enough in their heart for a sweet little man like me. Could you be that special someone? I hope you'll come visit me soon so we can fall in love!
