Moses (and Amy)'s Story...
Meet Amy and Moses (male is blk/white). Their owner suddenly died and a family member has taken them in. Now this family member is becomiing the caregiver to her aging Mom. The dogs have been together since they were puppies, and they are now 9 years old. The family member has done the best she can with them, has given them love and care. However; they miss the life of a climate controlled home. They have always been inside and were completely potty trained. No food or any aggression to each other or other people. They utd on shots, spayed and neutered. Amy and Moses would love to stay together if possible, big task I know, but is there someone wanting two wonderful, sweet lab/ possibly lab/mix dogs that was use to a wonderful lady caring for them. They deserve to end out their life in a comfortable, safe loving environment. The adoption fee for the pair is $150.00. Please download or cut & paste our application and email it to us.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Moses (and Amy), a Sumter Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Sumter, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Sumter.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sumter already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sumter breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sumter paves the way for another one to be saved.
