Finn's Story...
Meet this precious little fellow we call Finn. He's four months old and just as cute as a button. Finn is 100% puppy and he's in to everything. He needs someone to work with him on house training and he needs to be kept entertained all day long, as he is not happy being left alone. He loves to rough and tumble with other dogs, even if they are three times his size, and he adores people of all ages. You can almost hear him saying... Pick me up, pick me up, pick me up!

Finn is a sweet, healthy boy who was originally purchased from an ad on Craigslist. Sadly, his new owner found that he required more time and attention than she had available. We are delighted that she put her trust in DREAM to find little Finn the perfect forever family, one with plenty of love and time to help him grow into an incredible family member, while he provides them with a lifetime of unconditional love in return.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Finn, a Houston Dachshund puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund for sale in Houston, or seeking a Dachshund puppy from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund breeders who help with Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
