Momma earned her name when she and her kittens came to us on transport from Kentucky. They were in bad shape when they first arrived – the kittens were ill and covered in fleas and maggots. Sadly the kittens did not survive, but Momma made it and is now in great health. Momma’s favorite things include boxes, suitcases, and windowsills. She loves to look at the activity outside, chasing the birds with her eyes, but she doesn’t ever make a break for the door. She likes to be carried around on the deck, but does not try to leave your arms. Momma loves being around people and is quite social. She’s friendly with other animals – both cats and dogs. She prefers a dog who will play with her, but she makes do with the dog in her foster home (who mostly ignores her). Momma is vocal only when she wants food or can’t find her humans. She’ll eat wet food or dry food and is not overly picky; she will even try to eat the dog’s food. Momma is litter box trained and has never had an accident in her foster home. Momma is fully vaccinated and spayed. Momma is an absolute sweetheart who loves to climb in your lap, knead on you, and purr. Please help her find her forever home!
