Meet Joey Doves! This handsome Staffy mix came to us from a shelter in Orange County. Joey Doves is known for stealing the hearts of everyone he meets by showing off his perfect leash skills, knowledge of basic commands, and love of snuggling (not to mention his dashing good looks!). This fun-loving yet well-mannered boy has accompanied volunteers on sleepovers and K9rs hikes all over San Diego county. Joey Doves proves himself to be a perfect gentleman and houseguest time and time again. He is quiet, respectful, completely housetrained, loves playing fetch, and he does not jump on the couch without invitation. He gets along well with other dogs and has even passed a cat test! Joey was a hit on a recent outing to Petsmart where he was quite popular amongst other shoppers, dogs, and staff alike. He’s the kind of guy who likes to follow you around the house like a friendly shadow, patiently waiting for treats and affection. Joey is 3 and a half years old as of summer 2017, and he is a great medium size of 55 pounds. His soft and short brown coat will require minimal grooming and upkeep. His ideal home is one that is balanced between some active outdoor adventuring, and ample couch-snuggling time. If Joey Doves sounds like the perfect guy for you, don’t wait to submit an application to meet him!
