Camo's Info...

I am up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Camo's Story...
Camo's story is a good example of "being the voice" of helpless animals. Camo's owner kept him in the basement of his house. Period. No walks, no snuggles on the couch upstairs, nothing. A neighbor hounded (pun intended) the man to surrender Camo so he could be rehomed to a better life. Finally, the man agreed.

Whether it's to save a life or improve the quality of life, please speak up for animals like that man's neighbor did! Camo is loving all the attention and excitement at our shelter (wish all the dogs felt that happy to be here!) He's loving, lovable, friendly and gentle. He's good with kids and seems to like other dogs too. He's around 2 years old, healthy and weighs just under 25 pounds.

Camo isn't friendly to cats so a cat-free home will be necessary. Other than that one black mark, this guy has much too offer. We can't wait for him to get a happily-ever-after ending to his story!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Camo, a Marietta Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
