My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi everyone, I'm Lucy, a beautiful and loving 9 year old female black lab/ collie mix who is 70 lbs of pure fluffy love. Sadly, recent changes in my family situation means that I am being left home alone for 10 hrs every day. I am not destructive, but my owner knows I am very lonely and wants me to have a home where I will get the human attention I so desperately want. She says I LOVE human attention more than anything. So being alone so long every day makes me very sad.
I am a smart and gentle dog who has spent the past 5 years of my life with kids of all ages and am great with all of them. I also have a lot of doggie friends; basically I am a super sociable girl with all my two legged and four legged friends. I used to live with cats but that was a while ago so it isn't certain if I would still be good with them. But chances are if I was fine when I was younger I am likely even better now that I am maturer and mellower. I know my basic commands - sit, stay, laydown, go to bed and shake a paw. If you are beginning to worry that I am so perfect that I am boring, let me give you the good news. I am terrible on the leash. Okay, that might not be good news exactly, but once I am bonded (which takes me about a minute and a half) I am good off leash at dog parks. Being the good family guardian that I am I will bark at unusual noises outside the house or at people who I don't know who come to the home. I am in excellent health, am housetrained, spayed and will be brought up to date on my vaccinations prior to adoption. My adoption fee is $250.
