Ruby's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Ruby's Story...
Ruby is 5 years 9months old. Only just pulled into foster care, Ruby is so far doing well with the other dogs and cats. Ruby is a tad bit overweight at 12lbs. Her hair needs a trim but she is not matted and she needed a bath badly which I gave her this eveing. She loves people and is very sweet. Not sure if she is house trained yet. All Humane Society of Wilkes Dogs are heartworm tested, up to date on vaccines including Rabies, DALP, and Bordatella. They have had a fecal done and wormed accordingly. All dogs are kept on Flea and Heartworm prevention while in foster care. The adoption fee for all dogs is $110. For an adoption application contact:

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ruby, a North Wilkesboro Poodle (Miniature) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Poodle (Miniature) for sale in North Wilkesboro, or seeking a Poodle (Miniature) dog from a breeder in North Wilkesboro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in North Wilkesboro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a North Wilkesboro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Poodle (Miniature) breeders who help with Poodle (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in North Wilkesboro paves the way for another one to be saved.
