Hooper & Rusty were surrendered to EHR when their owner moved & could not take them along. Hooper is 9 years old, Rusty is 12. They were surrendered along with Casper, a 5-year-old Chi who is also available for adoption. Since Hooper and Rusty are both bonded and seniors, the adoption fee for these 2 cuties is $250 for the pair.
Hooper & Rusty were placed in a loving foster home & their foster mom spent a lot of time evaluating their behavior. Both Rusty and Hooper are sweet, loving dogs who will jump on your lap for snuggles, cuddles and affection, but at this point, neither is fond of being picked up and for this reason, we feel that these dogs should not go to a home with children. Rusty gets along with all dogs but Hooper is not fond of male dogs so he might do best in a home with only female dogs or no other dogs (besides Rusty, his pal).
Hooper & Rusty are housebroken, have the run of the house during the day & at night they are very happy in their crate together. These boys are very attached to each other & therefore they must be adopted together to an adult home with people who would be respectful of their age. If you'd like to meet them, please fill out an application & mention their names.
