Elle / River's Story...
We rescued Elle a couple of months ago from MCACC West in Phoenix. This girl is SPECIAL! She is probably between 2 and 3 years old and very pretty. Elle has been in foster and has learned all sorts of things! She is SO loyal! She loves to play. Elle is housebroken and likes her crate. She has also been left out of crate when no one is home and done well. Elle knows several commands and does well on the leash too. She still needs to learn a few manners but is doing great with that! Elle has been around children and done fine - though she wants to give kisses and can be accidentally rough doing it. She is very treat motivated too. Elle gets along OK with other dogs in social situations, but she would do best if she was an only dog because she does NOT like to share her toys! If you are looking for a wonderful indoor companion and are an active family, Elle may be your gal. Please fill out our online application to get the approval process started. We won't schedule meet & greets without an approved app on file. Here's the link: http://savingpawsrescueaz.com/adoption-form/

Why Adoption is a Great Option
Elle / River, a Phoenix German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Phoenix.
Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies
of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it
much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder,
or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for
a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of
You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home.
In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who
help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten
adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
