“ Hi my name is Ursa Major, named after a constellation in the northern hemisphere!
I am so smart I know my name when called, and when spoken to, I will answer back with a cute meow. I am a strikingly beautiful and sweet girl.
I was found when I was barely a week old and have grown up around people and other kitties. I love human attention and have an instant purr when I receive your pets. I am also a smart little girl, with a great memory. I won’t forget where you put those toys! Since I am just a little over a year I will entertain you with my playful personality, and I will chase anything! I would be fine with another gentle and kind kitty or as your only one. Please come by to meet me soon!”

About Homeless Cat Network

About Our Rescue Group...

Homeless Cat Network works hard to help cats and kittens in need on the San Francisco Peninsula. We provide advice, support and guidance to people who have found and wish to help community cats, and our volunteers do hands-on rescue work.

Our lifesaving initiatives focus on solving the root problem of cat homelessness and include: TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) programs for feral cats; kitten rescuing, fostering and adoption efforts; educational outreach; responsible community cat colony management; and mentoring people to help cats in need. We also have a unique Socialization Center, which gives abandoned, abused and neglected adult cats the chance to heal from their emotional and physical wounds and find the home of their dreams. All of our efforts work toward a single goal: to bring about a day when there are no more homeless cats, and with your help, we'll make that dream come true.

(2) An in-person meeting with the cat and an HCN volunteer; and
(3) A home visit to discuss safety and adjustment issues, prior to the adoption.
An adoption contract will be signed and an adoption fee collected.
