Rowdy's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, and up to date with shots.

Rowdy's Story...
I am Rowdy, an adorable and sweet, gentle little guy. I am a Manchester Terrier mix. I am 12 years old and weigh in at a svelte 15 lbs. My foster mom has seen my personality come through, and says that I am very lovable.

When my foster mom takes me outside, I like to sniff around and see the bunnies. She says I am still very spry and that I do well on the leash. I am a great little companion that likes being affectionate at times, and other times, I love to burrow myself in a sheet or blanket and sleep soundly all night, as well as enjoy a snuggly nap off and on throughout the day. Even though I am thin, I am a good eater. I don't bark alot, but when I do, it's usually to notify my foster mom that I have seen someone new, human or dog. I get along great with the other dogs in my foster home.

If you are looking to bypass that "puppy stage", then I am would be a great companion for you because I will not chew and destroy things and don't need to be kept busy as a puppy or younger dog would. All I require is love, kindness, and being taken care of. Make an appointment today to meet me!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rowdy, a Colorado Springs Manchester Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Manchester Terrier for sale in Colorado Springs, or seeking a Manchester Terrier dog from a breeder in Colorado Springs.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Colorado Springs already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Colorado Springs breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Manchester Terrier breeders who help with Manchester Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Colorado Springs paves the way for another one to be saved.
