My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Adopted - February 2016

Meet Chloe!

Chloe is a 1 year old (born December 2014) female 70 lb black & tan Rotti. She is up to date with her vaccinations, spayed, and is house trained too!

She is one high energy pup! She loves to go for walks (she needs a little help with the whole pulling on the leash thing), rides in cars, and going to the dog park (she spends an hour a day at the park). She would definitely benefit with some obedience training to help with the leash and her bad habit of jumping up on people. She’s a big boisterous girl so she would probably be best in a home with older children (just so she doesn’t squish them with her size...lol). She gets along great with Men, Women, and doesn’t have a problem with strangers either. Chloe also get along well with other dogs and loves to play with them. We are unsure how she would be with cats as she’s never met one. She has really worked on her toy and food manners and her Foster Mama can take them away without any signs of aggression, tho sometimes she thinks it’s playtime...lol Her Foster Mama can also take out anything from her mouth that she shouldn’t have.

Chloe is super smart. She knows commands such as Sit, Stay, Come, Gentle, Lay down, and Drop it. She is like any typical teenager that likes to push their boundaries to see what they can get away with. She will need a firm hand and someone with experience with Rotti’s. She will also need lots of exercise to help burn off some of her energy!

She’s still a pup and is described as a big happy social butterfly that just loves to exercise. Chloe is a very loving dog too. A home with a fenced in yard would be ideal and she would love to have another dog to play with. She does not beg nor does she counter surf!

Chloe was surrendered to us because her owner could no longer give her the exercise she needs because of recent medical issues. We know it’s a difficult decision to make so we intend to find Chloe an awesome forever home!

Any approved applicants will be required to meet with Chloe a couple of times before the adoption can be finalized.
