Tinkerbell's Story...
Hi, I'm Tinkerbell! I'm an 8 week old chihuahua/ terrier mix puppy. They say I'm pretty sweet, active, cute, and of course little. I will probably not be more than 14 pounds full grown. I am working on potty pad training and doing pretty well my foster mom says. If you are interested in giving me a forever home please fill out a application at rescueofhope@gmail. My adoption fee is $300, which covers all my shots, deworming, microchip and spay. *Please remember I cannot be alone more than 4 hours a day. I'm still just a baby. I hope to find my forever home soon!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tinkerbell, a Grand Rapids Chihuahua/Rat Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Rat Terrier for sale in Grand Rapids, or seeking a Chihuahua/Rat Terrier puppy from a breeder in Grand Rapids.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Grand Rapids already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Grand Rapids breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Rat Terrier breeders who help with Chihuahua/Rat Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Grand Rapids paves the way for another one to be saved.
