Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Can you help Leo find his true happy ending? Leo originally came to St. Francis Humane Association when his family, who he lived with from the day he was born, was forced to move in to a retirement community, but could only take two of their four cats. Shortly after entering our adoption program, Leo had his second chance at a happy ending when he was adopted by a wonderful couple. Unfortunately, life is unpredictable and two years later, Leo found his way back in to our care when his family’s living situation changed. That’s tough, but even tougher is within a month of returning to our care, Leo was diagnosed with diabetes. He’s not letting it get him down, though, and we’re committed to finding him the wonderful, loving, FOREVER home he deserves! Leo is a sweet and affectionate cat and would be a great companion for any family. He does well with other cats and tolerates dogs, but isn’t afraid to let them know when they’ve crossed the line. Leo has been examined by a veterinarian, tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV, received his age appropriate vaccines and has been neutered and microchipped. Leo is diabetic and currently insulin dependent.
If you are interested in finding out more about Leo or any of our other kitties, please contact St. Francis Humane Association at (804) 598-6636 or webmaster@stfrancisha.org. Check our website, www.stfrancisha.org, for our adoption event schedule!
