My story

As a streetcar screamed past STELLA, the tiny 9 year old's desire to find help, drove her onward. She dove, dodged, turned, then let out a scream unmatched in the natural world! STELLA's tumor had dragged along the curb splitting it open like a melon. Thankfully Rescue heroes heard her cry and she was rushed to Balcones Animal Hospital for emergency surgery to remove the tumor. Weeks later she underwent a much needed dental, and now her spay surgery is complete.

STELLA is finally ready to join a furever family! Her strong personality shines through what was once a dense veil of pain. STELLA is playful, vibrant and full of love - effusively displayed in an outpouring of affection toward her favorite people. She is house & crate trained, seemingly everything a family could want in their four-footed family member. STELLA has just about found her groove...are you her heart's furever desire?
