Lily's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Lily's Story...
Adoption application: waalrescue.org/adoptions. I'm Lily, a 1 year old, female, Cairn Terrier. I'll greet you at the door with hugs and kisses cause I'm very sweet that way! I've had a little bit of training and know "sit" and "lay down". I get along great with the dogs and the resident cat, though I do like to chase the cat just to have fun! I'm really playful, love toys, and my favorite is playing fetch. I'd be best in a home with kids and maybe another dog or two cause I'm very active and like to play. My owner can't keep me cause another dog in the house doesn't like me for some reason, so if you will love me unconditionally, I'd love to come and be your forever friend!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lily, a Wichita Cairn Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cairn Terrier for sale in Wichita, or seeking a Cairn Terrier dog from a breeder in Wichita.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Wichita already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Wichita breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cairn Terrier breeders who help with Cairn Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Wichita paves the way for another one to be saved.
