Ocean Love's Story...
Meet Ocean Love (name courtesy of a 4 year old) :)

This little girl came to us off the indian reservation. At first she was nearly feral. She clearly had not had much contact from humans outside of maybe them throwing her food. She was PETRIFIED of us. However, with time she has learned we are not here to hurt her :) She has been blossoming beautifully & learning to be an amazing indoor family pet.

She cries in the crate for awhile but settles down eventually, she has been getting better. She is not sure what a leash is all about but her foster mom has had it on her a lot in the house just get her acquainted with it. She LOVES all other animals and loves to play & give kisses. She has become quite human oriented as well & will want to be by your side :)

She would make an excellent addition to an active family. Great with kids but we suggest older kids (8-9+ years old). Right now, she is about 4-5 months old & 15 lbs. When she's grown we anticipate she will be about 40-50 lbs.

Her adoption fee is $200. This covers 2 rounds of deworming, all vaccines, spay & microchip. Let us know if interested!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ocean Love, a Phoenix Border Collie/Blue Heeler puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie/Blue Heeler for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Border Collie/Blue Heeler puppy from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie/Blue Heeler breeders who help with Border Collie/Blue Heeler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
