Winston is our very special boy. He was found as a stray and was in terrible condition. Winston was about 40 pounds underweight, had hardly any fur, heartworm positive, diseased kidneys, hip dysplasia, arthritis, fused vertebrae, hematoma on his ear...But, his spirit was strong and his bald tail was constantly wagging. He's come a very long way since he came to The Old Dog House. Winston's fur is a beautiful light gold, soft and thick. He weighs about 110 pounds now and his mobility is good because of regular cold laser therapy treatments and supplements. He could not be treated for his heartworm disease because of his kidney problems. Winston's care is very expensive, so we don't consider him a candidate for adoption. He will live out his life here at The Old Dog House.
