IVY's Info...

I am already spayed, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

IVY's Story...
Ivy is a gentle and well-mannered mature girl. She experienced some trauma and was in the shelter medical ward awaiting rescue when we pulled her. We had to have her eye removed but she is healing well although she is also blind in the remaining eye so she needs a family accepting of her special needs. She is good with other dogs and really enjoys the company of people. She is on the low energy side and is happy with a few leisurely walks a day and lots of lap time in between. She will bring lots of love and happiness to any home!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

IVY, a Los Angeles Pug dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pug for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a Pug dog from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pug breeders who help with Pug rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
