Ace's Story...
Ace
4 yr old Male
Rottweiler/Cattledog Mix

Ace is fully grown at a lean 68 lbs. His owners moved away and left him behind in his kennel run where rescuers discovered him and contacted us. Ace is a big, sweet doofus who loves to paws-on wrestle with other dogs his size. He can be pushy with other dogs at first, but is responsive to their correction. He should do fine with a large, female dog. When not playing with a canine pal, Ace is quiet and well-mannered. He loves human attention and will sit all day for snuggles and pets. Ace will do great with the right female dog companion and would love to be in a family with kids. He shows a bit too much interest in cats for comfort. He knows Sit, and walks well on leash, but does not appear to have had formal obedience training. Ace is fantastic for his baths and rides well in the car. Ace is crate trained and most of the way housebroken. He will need supervision at first in his new home. Please email adoptarescuedog@aol.com for an application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ace, a Morgan Hill Rottweiler/Australian Cattle Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rottweiler/Australian Cattle Dog for sale in Morgan Hill, or seeking a Rottweiler/Australian Cattle Dog dog from a breeder in Morgan Hill.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Morgan Hill already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Morgan Hill breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rottweiler/Australian Cattle Dog breeders who help with Rottweiler/Australian Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Morgan Hill paves the way for another one to be saved.
