My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hey there! My name is Max. My story starts out a bit sad. I've had a really difficult time lately. I was an outside cat that no one really cared about. I spent my days wandering around town searching for food and water. Then one day, I was hit by a car. The accident damaged both of my knees. I was struggling to survive and almost did not make it until I happened upon a kind lady who took me to a vet. I was starving and in a lot of pain, but the nice people at the vet's office fed me and took great care of me until my foster mom could take me home.

Once I was home, my foster mom gave me lots of love while I healed, but she noticed that I had a limp when I walked. She knew something was wrong and took me to an orthopedic specialist who said I needed knee and leg surgery. You won't believe it, but now that the surgery is over and I have had a chance to heal, I don't have a limp anymore! Now that I am feeling much, much better, I am starting my search for my very own forever home. My vet said that I would be ready to go to my new home by mid May!

You probably want to know a bit more about me. Well, I am a very loving boy. My favorite thing to do is sit by my foster mom and rub up against her leg. I'm looking for that special home with soft beds for me to snuggle up in and people who will give me lots of love and attention. If you feel that you could love me and be my best friend, then fill out an application, and I could be yours!
