Blair's Story...

We got Blair and her mother Onyx in August of 2009. Blair was about 6 months old. After a few months Onyx was adopted and poor Blair was left behind. She loves toys, balls, and bones. She is crazy about playing fetch and tug-of-war. She likes some dogs, but not all. It depends on the dogs personality. Blair isnt much on hugging and being rubbed, though. She also doesnt like strange men and young boys. Shes just an independent girl who needs her own space. Shes been known to growl if you crowd her too much. Blair isnt growling because shes mean, she simply warning you off. We dont recommend her in a home with children because of her space issues. You can show her you love her with treats or a toy and shell be your best friend before you know it. Please give her a chance! Shes a good girl!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Blair, a Lovingston Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Lovingston, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Lovingston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lovingston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lovingston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lovingston paves the way for another one to be saved.
